Air filters used in pipelines and containers of various medical equipment are made of hydrophobic material. The filter/plug/core can be customized according to customer's design requirements, so as to achieve the purpose of blocking liquid and free air circulation, so as to protect the medical equipment from cross-contamination only in factory operation.

The filter element of the suction head is used to prevent aerosol volatilization, sample spillage, and water-based liquid from reaching equipment and instruments. The filter element of the suction head is made of pure ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), which is processed by unique technology and has hydrophobicity. The hydrophobic filter element forms a solid barrier to the aerosol and liquid, which can eliminate the cross contamination between the sample and the pipettor.
Encountering water to seal the filter element, has a strong sealing effect.
When the suction head is closed with water, the filter element uses the strong hydrophilicity of the polymer elastomer to adsorb the aerosol and prevent the dangerous liquid from overrushing. A polymer elastomer is added to the pore of the filter element. The polymer elastomer expands rapidly in contact with water, blocking the airways and preventing the passage of aqueous solutions.
