PVDF- polyvinylidene fluoride
PVDF- polyvinylidene fluoride:

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) with the molecular formula (C2H2F2) N. It is a homopolymer of vinylidene fluoride, with a molecular weight of 400,000 ~ 600,000, a crystallinity of 60~80% and a fluorine content of 59%. PVDF polyvinylidene fluoride, the appearance is translucent or white powder or particles, the molecular chain is closely arranged, and has a strong hydrogen bond. The copolymer of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) with chlorotrifluoroethylene (chlorotrifluoroethylene) was prepared in a ratio of 5~10%. In 1960, the United States began to commercialize the production, then appeared on the overall performance of polyvinylidene fluoride, processing methods and applications of the report. PVDF resin mainly refers to the partial fluorine ethylene homopolymer or partial fluorine ethylene and other small amount of fluoride copolymer of vinyl monomer, PVDF resin with the characteristics of fluorine resin and general resin, in addition to have good resistance to chemical corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, weather resistance, radiation resistance, also a piezoelectric, dielectric properties, thermoelectric performance, special is the second place in the fluoride plastic big products, annual production capacity of more than 43000 tons.

Polyvinylidene fluoride application:

Polyvinylidene fluoride can be used in molding, extrusion, injection, casting and other processes to produce gaskets, diaphragms, pipes, gears, bearings and so on for chemical machinery. Can be used for corrosive drug packaging, disinfection packaging, coating, lining, chemical resistant parts, wires and cables, etc. In the application of electroacoustic can make loudspeaker, earphone, microphone, microphone and so on. Can also be made into a variety of thermoelectric measurement and monitoring devices, infrared detection and so on.

Chemical properties of polyvinylidene fluoride:

Advantages of polyvinylidene fluoride:

1, PVDF has excellent chemical corrosion resistance, excellent high temperature color resistance and oxidation resistance.   2, PVDF has excellent wear resistance, flexibility, high tensile strength and impact resistance strength.   3, PVDF has excellent UV resistance and high energy radiation.   4. Low permeability to most gases and liquids.   5. PVDF has poor hydrophilicity.   6, its performance is not affected by long-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation.   7, good heat resistance and high dielectric strength.
